Design that does the work for you

How does a project start?

With a paid discovery session. We talk through your business, your customers and what the identity has to do, and you leave with a clear picture of the scope. A written proposal follows with the deliverables, the timetable and a fixed fee. Work starts when you accept it.

Do you pitch ideas for free?

No. The studio does not do spec work. A free pitch rewards guessing; a paid discovery session rewards understanding your actual situation, and the work is better for it.

What does a full brand identity include?

A logo system, a colour palette, a type hierarchy, brand voice guidelines and a print-ready brand book, delivered over six to eight weeks with two structured rounds of feedback. Our article on what a brand identity includes explains each part.

How much does it cost?

Starting prices are on the Services page in Japanese yen, excluding consumption tax, and the exact fee is fixed in your proposal. Prices depend on scope, so a scoping call gives a more accurate figure than any list.

Who owns the finished artwork?

You do, once the final invoice has been paid. Working files are included only if the proposal says so, and third-party typefaces or images are licensed on their own terms, which we explain before the work is finished.

Where is the studio and when can I reach you?

The studio is at 2-3-18 Nakazakinishi, Kita-ku, Osaka. We are available Monday to Friday, 10:00-18:00 Japan time. Call +81 6-6371-4806 or write to hello@hexalo-design-studio.com; the best first step is an email.
